Ragi Idiyappam



Ingredients:

Serves 15 -20 idiyappam

Ragi flour - 2 cups
Salt -1/2 tsp
Hot water - 1 and 3/4 cup + 1 tbsp
Oil -1 tsp(for smearing oil on idly plates and idiyappam maker)

Method:

1)In a bowl add ragi flour and salt and mix well.


2)Add little water step by step and make it into a dough.The dough should not be too stiff or too watery.

3)Take a small dough ball and press it in idiyappam maker.Make idiyappams


4)Boil water in idly maker and let it be hot.Add idiyappam and let it cook  for 3 to 5 minutes.





Serve ragi idiyappam with coconut chutney.
