Saffron Cardamom Lassi





INGREDIENTS:
Whole Milk Curd /Yogurt - 1 Cup
Milk -1/4 Cup
Cardamom powder - a pinch
Saffron threads - 2 pinch
Ice Cubes (optional)
Chopped Nuts(Almond,Pistachios) and Saffron Threads for garnishing
Sugar(optional)

METHOD:

1.In a Mixie jar,grind Curd,Milk,Cardamom powder,Saffron threads and Ice Cubes.



2.Pour into a glass and enjoy .Add Chopped Nuts and saffron threads for garnishing.

Beetroot Rice/Easy Beetroot Rice

 



INGREDIENTS:

Beetroot chopped -2 cups
Sesame oil - 2 Tbsp
Mustard -1/4 tsp
Urad dal - 1 tsp
Channa dal -1 tsp
Curry leaves -1 sprig
Red chilli -1 or 2
Sambar Masala - 2 tsp
Salt 
Water - 3 Tbsp
Cooked Rice -3 Cups

METHOD:
1.Chop beetroots into fine pieces.


2.Heat Oil in a pressure cooker and add mustard,urad dal,channa dal,red chilli and curry leaves.

3.Add chopped beetroot and mix well.


4.Add little water and let them cook for few minutes else pressure cook for 3 whistles.



6.After pressure releases ,open the pressure cooker and this is how it would look.


7.Add masalas and salt and mix well.



8.Add cooked rice .


9.Mix well and serve .

Hot Chocolate/Microwave Hot Chocolate


 INGREDIENTS:

Cocoa powder - 2 tsp

Sugar-2 to 3 tsp

Milk - 3 Tbsp +1 Cup/250 ml

METHOD:

1)In a cup add 2 tsp of cocoa powder.


2)Add required sugar.


3) Add 3 Tbsp of milk and mix well.


4)Add milk and microwave for 1 to 1 and 1/2 minutes.
