Sathu Mavu Kanji/Sathu Mavu Porridge


INGREDIENTS:

Sathu Mavu - 1 cup
Oats - 1 packet
Milk -1 cup
Water - 1  and 1/2 cup
Brown sugar  as needed
Salt - a pinch

METHOD:

1.Heat water in a pan


2.Add oats and mix well



3.Add sathu mavu and mix well.


4.Add milk and required sugar  and let it start boiling.Keep mixing to avoid lumps.



5.Sathu mavu porridge is ready .Add more milk or water if needed depending upon thickness of porridge.


Healthy sathu mavu porridge is ready to serve .








                        

Vegetable Clear Soup/Simple and Easy Vegetable Soup






INGREDIENTS:

Chopped Vegetables (carrot,cabbage,lettuce etc)
Water
Butter
Garlic,chopped
Salt
Pepper

METHOD:

1.Chop vegetables and pressure cook it with required quantity of water for 3 whistles until the vegetables are fully cooked.



2.After 3 whistles let the pressure release by itself ,then open the pressure cooker.



3.Strain the vegetables stock and keep it separately.


4.Heat buttter in  a pan.


5.Add chopped garlic and saute well.


6.Add strained vegetables stock .


7.Add pepper and salt and simmer for 2 minutes.

Serve hot and enjoy!




You can also serve it with bread !!
