Sakkarai pongal




INGREDIENTS:

Raw rice -1 cup
Moong Dal -4 Tbsp
Water -6 Cups
Jaggery -1 and 1/2
Cardamom-2
Edible Camphor-1 pinch

To roast:
Ghee -4 tbsp
Cashews-10
Raisins -10

METHOD:

1) Wash rice and Moong dal.


2)Add water and pressure cook for 5 whistles.

3)Boil jaggery in water.


4)Heat ghee and add cashews,raisins and Cardamom.



5) Open pressure cooker and mash it


6)Add roasted cashews,raisins and Cardamom.

Garlic Cheese Bread




INGREDIENTS:
Bread -5
Salted Butter - 2 Tbsp
Garlic,grated -3
Olive Oil-1 tsp
Italian seasoning -2 tsp
Pepper powder-1/2 tsp(optional)
Red chilli flakes-1/2 Tbsp
Parsley or coriander leaves , chopped-1 Tbsp
Mozarella Cheese,grated -as required

METHOD:

1)In a bowl mix butter and grated garlic and microwave for 40 sec or till butter melts.In the same bowl add chilli flakes,pepper, Italian seasoning and mix well.


2)Cut bread into slices.

3)Add grated cheese.


4)Add melted butter mixture and heat for 1 minute.



5)Serve hot and enjoy.
