Kesari/Rava Kesari






INGREDIENTS:
Rava - 1 Cup
Cardamom powder -2 pinch or 1 cardamom crushed
Sugar - 1 cup and 3/4 cup +2 Tbsp
Water
Cashews -1 Tbsp
Raisins -1 Tbsp
Ghee - 1/4 cup+1 Tbsp


METHOD:

Heat 1 tbsp ghee and roast cashews and raisins.Keep it separately



In the same pan roast rava on medium flame.Dont overburn the rava.


The rava is slightly roasted


Keep the roasted rava and cashews,raisins in a separate plate

Boil water



Add roasted rava and let it cook for 3 to 4 minutes .



Add sugar and mix well.Let it combine well



Add ghee and mix well


Add few pinch of food colour


Mix well

Add roasted nuts 

Rava kesari is ready


Serve hot and enjoy!
